Gothic 2 Gold

Just in case anyone missed this in the US... Gothic 2 Gold edition (the original gothic 2, plus the big expansion) was released earlier this week for 19.99.

I think you might have to buy it from an online retailer though, because even though it was released early this week (i think monday) no stores have stocked it (or even seem to be planning on it) where I am. EBgames, Best Buy, and Gamestop have all been zip. I dont think best buy even has it online. I just bought it online, which I didnt want to do because now I have to wait for shipping. If I had known it wasnt going to be release in stores I would have ordered it the day it shipped :frown:

Anyways, Gothic 2 was an amazing game if you havent played it yet... and I hear the expansion adds about 30 hours of gameplay, 150 new weapons and 50 new spells. Unfortunately, you cant just buy the expansion in the US, so you will have to get the gold edition... but its the same price as an expansion anyways so w/e.

Mannn, I was hoping that was a typo with 2 instead of 3.

I played the demo of GII but it seemed a bit lame. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

Once exams are over for me I will be buying. I have been wanting to play the expansion pack for a very long time now.
