Goverment Soldier's returning?

Do you think it's possible ex-Goverment Soldier's that were sent into BM meet up again or somthing & team up with Gordan Freeman to go against the Alien's & Combine?

My guess is most soldiers post invasion were rounded up and "enhanced", killed off, oe turned into stalkers.
