GPU going out before L4D?!?!

To start this off my monitor was made by Sceptre and they completely suck. It literally fired itself by getting too hot in less than a year. So I sent that for an RMA a long time ago and it's fine now. Before that though I thought it was my GPU (but it wasn't) so I sent it back to EVGA for a replacement for free. That was last year and they did it with no fuss for an 8800GTX. Well now it's my video card I'm confident is busted. I don't have a spare PCI card around to test stuff out unfortunately. It starts up and you can do stuff for some minutes until the screen quickly tuns brown, gray, tan, or even black. I can't do anything neither and it stays like this, even after shutting off/turning on the monitor. It's not after a certain time neither but I notice the more I restart the computer, the more it heats up and stays on longer. :| Now it's getting worse and sometimes refuses to send out a signal. Last time even the fans went into turbo mode on it like it was just in post-boot mode constantly.

What I'm wondering is if I can somehow get my money back? The 8800GTX is quite large and I hate RMA'ing it all the time. Can I return it? I got it from Newegg but I registered it the day I got it. I must do whatever quickly though because L4D is coming out soon. What do I do folks or is it something else? As I type this message, it has been on for at least 5 min which is good.

A 8800GTX is fine, you dont need to get something else. It sounds like its just dying. If you are still under the return period from Newegg, you can go and RMA it, if not, then you may still be under EVGA's warranty, and can get a replacement. The card is a good card, yours is just dying.
