eek, i really do dislike grand tourismo. Its such comercial crap. The whole company just wants to make money, I swear they are still running on the same AI since GT1 Its really pathetic and I am never going to buy another grand tourismo game again. They have no clue what they are doing.

best looking game and still looks ugly as shit :/ textures look all bitty and nasty and the cars look a totaly different style to the enviroment. ps2 = teh crap. buy a pc and get good games

Yeah i need to buy a pc, i really wanna see what games are like on them...i used my mobile phone to post this thread im a ps2 fanboi really with a top o' da line mobile 'internet' phone to annoy pc users...

PS2 games may look crap when you compare them to the lastest games graphics on a pc like FC but they still have good games...when will people learn that gameplay makes a game.

You guys don't seem to know why most people by consoles.

Most people by consoles because they don't want to upgrade evey other year to play games at the best possible graphics, some don't have time to fiddle around with computer to keep the working correctly, others don't have the knowlege. Thats why there are consoles. To fill the less tech savy people's gaming craves. Ofcourse a pc is far more advanced then a console is but it is also more costly to run and breaks down much much more easily.

Why I own a console is because we have a summer place where we go to a few weeks per year, we don't have a computer there nor a dvd player. So we bought a ps2 so that we could play games there and watch dvds. Also when we go skiing we take it with us. I've found it to be a great source of entertainment. And im looking forward to Gran Turismo 4.

x box is good i just hate ps and ps2 i always have done and always will do. gfx are always so blocky and nasty N64 all the way! (and pc of course)

dont really have to upgrade that often, when the new hardware comes out everything elce gets really cheep. so you can get a good pc for a pritty good price

The Gran Tourismo games are one of the reasons I own consoles. I'll say that they are consistently and overwhelmingly named the best racing games EVER, and leave it at that.
And this one looks to be no exception. In addition to a huge graphical leap over the last one (the depth of which you won't grasp unless you watch it in action), and the gigantic number of tracks combined with online play really have this one looking awesome.
And anyone here over 10 bashing consoles of any type are being both childish and ignorant. It's like saying my grapefruit kicks the crap outta your banana.

this gran turismo has been built totaly from the ground up, the first time from the first 1. should be improved in all aspects.

tho i never had a problem with any of the last ones.

and i got a good feeling they have more of a clue than you

GT4 is the best racing game ever. 500+ cars and 100+ tracks, with online play. all you have to do is watch the movies and see this is the best looking racing game ever. igf you deny that you can shoot yourself in the head for being a fanboy. this game will sell Ps2's just like MGS3 will. and both will only be one Ps2, GT4 for sure since Polyphony is owned by Sony.
