In GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas are there any alternate endings? Im just wondering because my friend and I are arguing about it. Oh and can someone please post the ending of each one.

Thanks in advance.

Theres probably some "alternate" endings for failing the "last" mission, or something, but i don't think theres any "proper" alternate endings.

But then, I've only played Vice City for 10mins, so it's just a guess.

No there are no alternate endings. I have played all the gta games loads of times and if there were some alternate endings i would have seen them.

There are no alternate endings in any GTA.

Vice City:
The Forelli family decide that Tommy has been off the leash for too long, and decide to capitalize on his business. Tommy, together with Ken Rosenburg and Lance Vance puts together a wod of fake cash for Sonny Forelli's arrival in an attempt to buy him off - his share, and more. Unfortuantely, Sonny has no intentions of driving into the sunset - he's managed to penetrate the business. Lance sells Tommy out and the mob assault the mansion. Tommy delivers a can of whupass and finishes off Lance and Sonny. Vice city is his, and he and Ken look to the future.

San Andreas:
Having taken control of most of Santos, Sweet and CJ discover the whereabouts of Smokes crack factory. CJ manages to infiltrate it and finish off Smoke. Tenpenny has other plans, and due to recent events is leaving the state - but not without most of the drug money first. He manages to destroy the crack factory, but just as he is about to escape on a firetruck Sweet jumps on, unable to allow Tenpenny to escape. CJ gives chase and eventually Tenpenny loses control of his firetruck and goes hurtling off of a bridge into Grove Street. CJ and the gang celebrate.

LCS:

Salvatore tells the Sicilians where they can stick their peace deal and drives downtown with Toni to meet the Mayor. The Sicilians have captured the Mayor and Sal and Toni give chase in a speedboat. Ultimately, they reach the lighthouse and it turns out Massimo Torrini is behind the whole thing. Well I never. Toni shoots down Massimo's chopper. Sal gets his charges dropped, pays a visit to his Uncle and gives Toni half a million. Cheap skate.

Liberty City:

Claude hands over the cash for Catalina in exchange for Maria. He escapes the Columbians and gives chase, following Catalina in her chopper to the dam. Guns everyone down John Woo style and tops it all off by delivering a rocket to the escaping chopper. Catalina goes down in flames, Claude and Maria leave before the police arrive. Claude shoots Maria.

I went and did it all fancy and shit.

Does anyone know what happens when you get 100% completiton? There is alot of rumours behind that. Like bonuses or unlocks.

I know for a fact that you don't get anything special in GTA III for achieving 100% completion.

However in GTA: Vice City, you get:

  • 200% Health
  • 200% Body Armor
  • 3 Limos at the Vercetti estate (I"m not sure if this is true)
  • 3 Bodyguards at Vercetti Estate. They are at the room to your right as you enter. To hire them, stand in front of them on the pink markers. You'll spend $1,000 on each bodyguard you choose.
  • "Frankie" (This is a t-shirt saying "I JUST COMPLETED GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY AND ALL I GOT IS THIS LOUSY T-SHIRT")
  • 2x the damage. (This makes the vehicles twice as strong. It's just like "Cabmageddon" where you have to do drive-bys a few times to defeat the Zebra Cab. The leader of the rival cabs. The Zebra Cab in this mission has 2x the damage.)

In San Andreas you are rewarded with:

  • $1,000,000
  • Infinite Ammo
  • Vehicles you drive take double the amount of damage
  • Hydra Spawns on the roof of Sweet's house
  • Rhino Spawns near the bridge in Grove Street

I finished Vice city 100% a few days ago, Joules list is correct. I'm going though SA now.

The only real alternate ending is dying mid-way through the mission, which apparently causes a space-time rupture because anybody you've killed comes back to life, you are ressurrected outside a hospital/police station (depending on method of death) but your money and time taken remains the same.

But yeah, there aren't any alternate endings. The SA 100% reward is crap for the amount of work involved. VC 100% is nice though.

In San Andreas it's pointless with the money.. just go to the betting track and you can make LOADS of cash, I made so much money, the money counter up top actually added another digit, I thought there was going to be a limit, and I was like "F*** YEA I GOT MOST MONEY, IN YO FACE BITCHS!!!".. Then it added another digit and I was like "F*** YOU!!!!*.

Wow, I thought you were one of those who hated San Andreas.

I was going to complete 100% of that game, but I just ran out of time. I was going to resume it again this summer but never got around to it. San Andreas is just so huge that it's like going through Vice City and GTA3 100% both at once.

I'm not certain, but I think the only reward for completing GTA3 100% was the Tank became drivable, or was that for simply completing all the missions? I really should get around to playing GTA3 and Vice City again.

I never hated San Andreas, I just wasn't keen on some of the things it introduced. Going through 100% is easier than I originally though, and it's fun too.
