graphics driver for mobility

Too anyone that has a mobility radeon (I have 9000) , what driver do you use and does it work fine? I am getting bad textures, disappearing, solid greens and purples, artifacts etc...

I was using the ati driver, but it was listed as being out of date and that was the newest one they had. Then i switched to the newest omega driver and that works so-so.

So anyone with a suggestion?


edit: Though during play I can ignore SOME of these as it is an awesome game.

i found a fix!

use the laptop brands drivers. my dad installed the dell drivers for his mobility 9600 and it fixed all the crazy texture errors.

Well I think I solved it so far. As far as textures behaving badly they have stopped. All I did was uninstall the omega driver & its related software. Then I rollbacked the driver to the latest build for m9000. But I left it with just the driver. No ATI control center or anything. And no errors thus far, it doesn't look super great, but I had the setting at low-medium in game. If this works for someone else let me know.
