Should be able too. The only thing that smacks of mediocrity is your RAM and maybe your processor. Your video card is obviously up to date. I dont know if you could run 1600 x 1200 with 16xAA and 16xAF, but you could probably keep a constant 100fps at 1280x1024 with 2/4AA and 2/4AF. I dont know if you could really see much of a difference after that anyways.

is my processor really that far behind, i've heard the same thing in other forums too, would you think it would be worth it getting a brand new processor just for a few more fps?

keep in mind, i dont want to have to spend more money on upgrading unless absolutely necessary, as i have just got done upgrading

no dont upgrade...youll run the game fine..wait a year before you upgrade
