I've had this problem with only one other game, Star Wars Battlefront. Some objects appear distorted and shredded. After changing the resolution to the highest, the stretching reduced to nothing, only to pop up every once and a while. I have a Radeon Mobility 9000 (I am on a laptop). I searched other forums and found that someone beleived it was due to overheating (on the Planet Side forums). This is possible since laptops dont get good cooling. Is this correct, and if not, is there anyway to correct the problem. I've been restarting the game when it gets too bad, but thats pretty annoying with the load times. Please help.

Yes, the alterations, while still persistent from time to time, have reduced. But now I have a new problem that arises periodically, the textures get really goofy looking, this black-white-pink-green striping/checkerboard pattern.

mf400 what type of monitor do you have and how big is it?

With my 19inch flatscreen if you don't use the Monitor installation drivers on some games it can make the picture look stretched. But my monitor has an auto resize and fit to screen button! So i'm all good :)

EDIT*** Woops sorry only just realised you said you were on laptop.

Another thing that happens is whenever i take a sceenshot, it seems to "fix" whatever is in my POV. Sometimes it reverts back to the texture/object alterations when i turn my POV. All the screenshots come out black however so I can't give you an example of the problem.

I dunno about the screenshot thing, but definitely sounds like a heat problem, and I don't really know how you would correct that because you can't really get better cooling for a laptop.
