the PC version of Advanced Warfighter is vastly different from the recently released Xbox 360 version. This is essentially a different game, built on a different graphics engine, with different (and larger) levels than those seen in the console versions,

thanks to the fact that a helmet-mounted reticule will feed you all sorts of information. You'll see everything from what your teammates are seeing to targeting information on friends and enemies, as well as navigation information.

the PC version is entirely in first person, just like in the original Ghost Recon.

At your disposal is an array of weapons and equipment, ranging from rifles (which, between levels, you can modify with scopes, silencers, and other accessories), pistols, and grenades. Or you can take command of a remote control drone and send it flying ahead to scout the terrain, and then switch to the drone's camera view to see what it's seeing.

the PC version looks just as good as the Xbox 360 version, if not better, from the incredible draw distances (imagine standing on the roof of a building and seeing buildings extend for miles) to the dust and grit particle effects that effuse the air.

the PC will ship next month

Tactical Map looks shens

You mean the PC version is going to be a proper tactical shooter again like the first Rainbox Six and Ghost Recon games, instead of that arcade sh*t it turned into on the consoles?

Yup

Looks perty :)

I may pick this up for the single player, an area that's lacking a little on the 360 version (which i'll keep for the excellent multiplayer)

very cool, i hope my comp will run it decently though.

Yup ill be buying this aswell. 360 version was insane looking and fun. Cant wait to see this play with a physics card.

hmm its says i meet the recommended but oblivion said that too and it runs like crap...

The same happened to me with FEAR - according to the test it should run perfectly, not so :/

Recommended spec these days means what minimum spec used to.

Hot damn, my memories of excessively detailing every aspect of the mission in Covert Operations / Rogue Spear are all coming back to me.

"COVER, FFS, YOU LITTLE SHIT, COVER!!"
