what the hell am i supposed to do with that? i have no files to redownload since it's all on DVD. will i have to reinstall it all, and run the update again with my shitty 56k?? CSS is also fully installed. never touched HL:S.
btw i have the glitch which i believe is common, where the faces are all messed up and the walls sometimes turn into pink and neon green pixelfests. i noticed that when i load a level it starts out all right, but some five minutes after it gets ugly.

hardware is a 9600 AIW, a 2800+ XP, with a gb of ram. but i doubt it's related to that.
oh, i played anyway up to kleiner's lab and stopped there to avoid spoiling anything else. but still, best game ever till now
