I just bought the retail collectors addition of hl2 and the green bars that are on the main start screen wont go away when I start the game....Any suggestions? Has anyone else had this problem?

I can't right now, I am on a different computer. The green bar that moves up and down on the left side of the screen at the main menu when you first start up (before you load a saved game or new game). There is also a thin horizontal bar that goes across the screen. Those bars are the ones that won't go away.

This sounds like that SLI option to show the GPU balancing. Thats the only bars I can think of. Anyways, if that is it, in the video card control panel there should be an option to remove the actual green bars. The option should read "SHOW GPU LOAD BALANCING", you would want that unchecked. Just to make sure, does it look like this?
