Hey, I've been working on a mod for some time now. Working on the story progressively for many years, got it down(Also been doing sounds for it off and on for a year and mapping for it.)

The beginning of the story . . .

"Neil Spencer has been a college student at the Pleasant River University for the past 2 years, always working hard and enjoying himself, but recently the workload has been bothering him to a point of unimaginable stress. That, coupled with his obsessive father pressuring him to succeed, has driven Neil to edge of his sanity. He needs rest.

Suddenly someone walks by his front door and slips something under his door. A piece of paper. It's an advertisement.

"Do you need some place to get away from it all? Perhaps a place to bring a loved one? Your family? Then pack up your things and take a 1 hour drive over to Silent Hill. We have everything you could possibly ever want out of a cosy little resort town. A beautiful river with a hotel and amusement park overlooking it, many places to go to, and even a museum for all the spectacular things that has happened in this little village of ours.

Our people are friendly, peaceful, and would be delighted to see a fresh new face in our humble town. So please, it won't take long to get here. You'll love it here.

Silent Hill - Your Home Away From Home "

Perfect. He stuffs it in his pocket and packs up some belongings in his briefcase. Before he leaves, he calls his childhood friend Wendy, also attending Pleasant River, and tells her that he must go without telling her where he is going to. He then swiftly leaves campus and drives to Silent Hill.

Finally all the worries and troubles weighing him down will be lifted off his back."

Here are several of the hundreds of sounds I've done for it.

Besides me writing the story, doing the mapping, and heading up the sound department, I have a friend who is modelling items, a guy who writes the music (one track you can find of a preview of here http://www.viktorious.net/GreenFrequency/musicpreview2.mp3 ) and another fellow who does concept designs

you can find some of the samples of his concept art here

The big problem is that we don't have coders, or people/humanoid/monster modellers, skinners, animators, or texturers. And of course, to get any sort of appeal with those kinds of fellows, you need a website. Which is what we lack at the moment.

As you can see from this picture http://www.viktorious.net/GreenFrequency/layout14.jpg I think the website is very important because I went through many iterations of that picture(with comments by lots of people) before finding something they liked in terms of website design concept pictures(I did that picture in photoshop.)

Of course, a website designer wouldn't -have- to use that design at all, but I just wanted to show that I mean business. I hope someone can help us out, we would love to get a website designer to help this mod along.

Thank you for reading! I hope to see a response soon! :D

hope that you can re-create the feeling, and atmosphere of the silent hill series! good luck

I sent you a PM. It has been some time since it was sent, and I did not receive a reply. I just want to make sure you received it.
