Greeting from a new player

Hi everyone! Greetings from a brand new Half Life player. I started playing Half Life: Source in july. Since then, I have been totally absorbed by this awesome franchise. The graphics, the storyline, the gameplay... I've never seen something like this before. Truly wonderful!
And now, back to Episode 1 ;-)
 
I bought Half Life Source but never played it.

Welcome welcome... Gald to have you aboard. Enjoy playing HL1, I know I did.
 
You may not know this, but HL1 has two expansion packs (They don't work with HLS, unfortunatly) called Opposing Force and Blue Shift. The playstation version also has an extra co-op set of levels called Decay (Which is currently being ported to the PC by a third-party mod team).
 
Enjoy Half Life 1. When you finish, play Half Life 2, and it's expantions.

Well, I was talking about the whole Half Life series. HL1:S is very nice considering that it's a revamp of a 1998 game!
HL2 is simply stunning!
By the way, I have finished HL1 and HL2. At this moment I am escaping from City 17 in Episode One.

Eh eh... four hours ago I was already playing HL2: EP1. It took me some time to beat HL1 and HL2, no doubt about it :)

Don't rush, take your time, enjoy the atmosphere. There are many little secrets that await those who explore.

Yeah I rushed through HL2 and never found a single harpoon...

EDIT: Actually I didn't use the grav gun much at all, really.

Thanx for the advice and for the warm welcome. I didn't and I will not rush, the storyline and the atmosphere is too intriguing to be negleted!

yo ppl iv bin playin hl2 for ages now and im gettin kinda bored of replayin the storyline , iv got this lost coast expansion thing or sumthing, does any1 know anything about it??? thx

i dont understand all the episodes?? which episode is the one i have???
 
...and soon to be had, Ep. 2.

Sunderz: Lost Coast ins't an expansion. It's a graphics demonstration level.

Though i'm not sure, if it has anything to do with the REAL storyline
