Anyone know what this is about? On the last page of of PCG UK December there's a picture of Manny and the girl from Grim Fandango imitating that famous painting of the old farmer and his wife. At the bottom of the frame there's a plaque that reads

"It's All Over...
Until November 22"

Is Grim Fandango being re-released or something?

Oh my. But hmmmm... And also phweesh...!

But I'd suspect remake rather than sequel. Aren't Schaffer and co. busy with Brutal Leg-End? Or if it is a sequel, would it be made by Lucasarts without the original writing talent...? Intreeeguing.

It`s what they always do at the end of the mag, they put up a mock picture or news article or something, this has nothing to do with a sequel or anything, it`s just them trying to be smart.

Then why a date? (That's when the next mag is out, I think. So maybe they're doing a really stupid build-up to a joke? :p)

Does that joke stuff usually have a title too? Over or something? There's no title for this page. Can't you just let a guy dream?

its basically games = art it says so in the contents page

Oh noes. Oh right. I get the quote now. All Over is the name of the section and there's no more PCG untill Nov 22nd. We must go back to our non-Grim Fandango infested lives ;(

It's All Over is just a comedy page which varies month by month but always features the date of the next issue, but nothing that will be in the next issue. :)

I remember one where a guy fell in love with his computer. That was highly amusing.

DAMN YOU, GETTING MY HOPES UP!

Manny Calavera COME BACK!

Heh, I just started playing Fandango this week. Thank the lawd for gamefaqs.com is all I'm gonna say.

Yeah I want to play this again. Does this game run okay on XP?

I'm running it fine on XP. The cutscenes seem to skip a little in places but it's not very noticeable.

At one point you'll need to download something to slow the game down because modern systems run it too fast to solve a certain puzzle.

I was so excited until I read a little further. This thread should be closed so as to avoid the inevitable deluge from the adventure gaming crowd affected by this tease. ;(

I've never actually tried this game before so I decided to download the demo and try it out :)
