Woohoo, anyone here even playing GC 1? Anyhow grab it at fileplanet or gamespot now!!!

Anyhow, GC2 is amazing looking. It LODS perfectly, sports some of the best graphics I've ever seen in a PC game (was in the beta)
 
it looked pretty crappy to me.. but if Shuzer says its decent I might as well give it a go.
 
Well, I would download it buy Its got a 89 minute wait time.


And I cant wait 89 minues. I will have to download it tomorrow :(

Played and I enjoyed it very much! I especially like the new dropship-system. Great graphics also, doesn’t look as hot on the screens I seen (maybe because I have such a suxxorz graphics card) though but it's very nice anyways. Really looking forward to this game. :)

Just played the two tutorials at the moment, gotta try out the single player campaign tomorrow, so damn tired right now. :dozey:
 
Just finished the missions and tutorial, the graphics are really good... nothing spectacular but really good none the less.

The dropship system/reinforcement system is a really good addition.

I have no time to play it ATM, but, it looks nice, and from what I played of the beta, it plays better than GC did

Cant say it looks BETTER, but it definatly looks sweet. Farcrys water effects were pretty nice.

Some things that bothered me were the APCs wheels didnt move, and there were no "Splash" effects for the water.

Snipers rule!!! :)
 
You must admit, for being a RTS, it looks amazing :)
 
Already played the beta, so meh :p

It's good fun, though.
 
Agreed... last known "good looking rts" was CnC Generals... this blows it away!!!
 
Yeah and the gameplay of generals kind of sucked....


just not enough units/upgrades/missions


even the 30$ addon only added like 9 missions.

What are you talking about? I thought the gameplay in Generals was awesome.
 
great game so far....the graphics are real nice and smooth much better than generals...

one thing that bothered me a lot though was that the unit selection failed alot when having the camera at different angles. and also the zoom level...

and also the lack of explanation between primary and secondary unit mode(it only tells you primary/secondary mode but not a single hint at what they do)(although when you have the manual that might not be such a big deal) I'm used to warIII and generals which as far as I remember have a a pretty good mouse over explanation of the different abilities.
 
I played through the demo, and the graphics are top notch.. the detail put into the infantry units is amazing. the sky is awesome, the weather and water are brilliant.

I must say, awesome graphics rts or not.
the gameplay was fun too, the ambient music was very relaxing, and the mortars rule!.

I might pick this game up upon release.

I have beat it a few times and still don't really know the the secondary mode on the siege guys do but I think I was abusing it :)
 
I love the demo, it's absolutely AMAZING! Almost everything is absolutely the way I want it (would like to build bases though, to get that cozy feeling), the character detail is awesome aswell, they have like more polys than the HL characters have :D , the range with rifles, the ability to hide behind buildings and junk and the entire atmosphere and graphics (and smoothness), AWESOME! :D

I guess I'll buy it, I hope there'll be a level editor included :eek:
 
The graphics are so bad on my PC, damn geforce 2, but I just found out what the secondary on the siege soldier is, like frenzy.

Yea they shoot alot faster and take alot more damage...

My faves are the snipers :) I had them sitting on a hill on the mission and they kept owning those soldiers (and even destroyed the dropship) as soon as they touched down :) FUn fun!!11

but this demo is awesome!
cant wait for this game
the weapon effects are spectacular
love the artillery.. :)
 
First GC was a bit good, but the unit control was terrible, along with a few more major flaws. But this one fixes all problems.

If only it was a bit less buggy......
 
i love how the alien race can combine units to form new ones on the battlefield
very cool
