grrrrrr what the hell steam

can anyone help me i went away to africa for 3 months and when i came back i couldnt sign into my steam account the pc just kept crashing when i tryed to. so i made a new account ..... that didnt work, so i uninstalled steam and all steam games and installed them again... that didnt work. i reinstalled windows.... didnt work, reformatted the hard drive X2 .... and guess what still didnt work i have tryed installing it from the half life 2 CD and downloading it from the steam website...... still crashes at the same point im out of ideas and could really use some advice please help me someone.

its not steams fault its your fault. in order for your games to work you need to use your first steam account because they are registered to it.
