Does anyone have this issue? I think it may be because the resolution on my TV, as I believe most 360 games were really designed for HDTVs and such, but the text on the moble phone and internet is very hard to read. Is there someway to fix this in-game?

There's an option on mobile phones to enlarge the text.

There's been threads about this in the GTA forum already. :P

It's a problem with most console games today. You really need an hdtv to see text clearly.

I know. I wish I wasn't always the last person to the latest games, and this is why being 'the last' sucks.

Damn you little kids with wealthy parents. :P

That sucks.

If you get an adapter you can hook it up to an LCD monitor for "HD". I just have my 360 sitting next to my computer.
I'll have to wait to get a new computer monitor first though. I think my current LCD is about to quit on me.

Besides, LCDs (mine as well) don't have the richest contrast in the world, especially compared to 'flat' CRT TVs/monitors. Newer ones have gotten better with that recently though.

Hm, I have like a 15 year old Sony TV I have my X360 plugged to and I can read the text quite fine (though I have to lean closer to the screen to see the small gray letters on the mobile).

I had this problem and posted a thread about it as well. I see no option to raise the text size either.

My TV is high def and I can read the text easily, the resolution is sharper then my computer monitor sometimes I think, at least its bigger.

So yeah big TV and sharp high def.

That sucks.

Yeah it does. But if you think your situation is bad, try playing Dead Rising. That game is impossible to play because of how shitty the text is on a normal TV.

Ditto, except I have an old flatscreen CRT that I got for free. It looks very good, and I can play GTA and surf the internets at the same time.

Yeah, that's the game that prompted me to go out and get a VGA cable - haven't looked back since. So many of the games are harder to even play on an SDTV. You just can't spot enemies as easy.

^ Same here, sort of. It made me stop playing the game on an SDTV, anyway.

****ing Otis.
