GTA: SA -- I need help with the following problems

#1. I can't win 2 of the races in Los Santos. They give me these crappy cars that don't run and are difficult to handle. Is there a workaround to this problem?

#2. How do I capture neighborhoods that appear in blue on the map but the baddies never show up once I am there?

#3. I [edit]*dealt with*[/edit] Smoke/Tenpenny and I robbed the casino. Is this the end of the "main missions" or is there something else to access the reminder missions? Someone told me there are 105 missions but according to the stats I have completed only 103.

You know, in GTA:SA she leaves you and runs off with the main character from GTA3. Now he has a name: Claude... Claude Speed from GTA2? Perhaps. Anyway, since GTA3 happens after GTA:SA the story continues from there. She is the one that double-crosses him/you right at the beginning of GTA3 in the opening sequence during the bank robbery. Remember, you start playing the game when you are set free by an attack on the police convoy transporting you... well, she's the one that put you there in the first place.

The only mission I haven't been able to complete is the one where you have to destroy the delivery business with the prototype plane. The reason is because the up and down buttons don't work

Since we're on the subject of GTA problems, I'd like to know how you do the last Trucking mission? Instead on taking the road and getting banged by cops, I took the rail road. Everything was fine until I reached Los Santos. SWAT vans where everywhere and I got raped.:| I tried the other way and got shot by helicopters. The truck is just so slow that I can't out run them.
