CPU: [email protected]
RAM: 4GB of OCZ Platinum 8500
Mobo: GA-P35-DS3L

As always, EVGA has outdone themselves with this card. I can't wait to overclock it. :)

Cool stuff ! I played through GTA4 on the 360, and then decided to get it for the PC, because it should be able to look much better. It does, but you need a powerful rig to run it, and as Brick said, having a quad will net you a good increase. I'm still struggling along on an Athlon X2 939 rig with a 512mb 8800GTS, but with a bit of compromise the game runs reasonably well at 1680x1050, albeit far from how i would like to play it !!

That would require me to buy a new mobo along with new ram. A $700+ upgrade.
A waste of money at the moment.

It is, but I'm just pointing out that the i7 cpus somehow perform MUCH better in GTA 4 than the core 2 duo/quad.

and still you max graphic setting is at 37!(?)

man they must really have future proofed this game , well that or really screwed up the optimizing.

just for the fun of it....try and crank all the graphic settings to max and take a screeny and report the fps...
