Well that looks like a very good PC core all you need is the small stuff. Cabinet, mouse, keyboard, screen(CRT is best for gaming) etc.

if you get a good flat screen then it might suit you better than a crt, a 17" flatscreen is the equivalent of a 19" crt or something stupid like that. As long as it has a low respons time like 16ms and is reasonable expensive you shouldn't have any problems.

I will get another monitor later on, ill use this one for now it goes up to 100hz so it shud be fine. Any ideas about Cooling? And Whats A Reasonbly good at cooling :p.

Yup ill get a Mouse,Keyboard And meh Case, Also what do u think wll be a good OS for that rig. XP?

thanks alot guys

I hope you are going to OC...
If you arn't, cas3 is poor for timings and I'd get something with 2.5 or 2cas.
Just because something can go fast(mhz) doesnt mean it can respond to actually put out a lot of data (timings).

PC3200 in dual channel already hits 800fbs max of 6.4gb/sec.
Only reason to go higher is for OCing but try not to scrap timings for mhz.

Yup i was thinking of overclocking. Reckon if its possible for me 2 do it? :(

[EDIT] OR Shall i just scrap the 3700 Ram get 3200 which wud save me about another £100 and get 3.0GHZ or 9800XT?

not sure

if you are not ocing go for the pc3200 with at least cas2 or 2.5 for sure
if you are OCing you could keep the pc3700 or something similar maybe even with cas 2.5 ;)
within your budget of course.

Well i seen The Sticky about Overclocking and understand it just that what are the chances me ****ing it up :(

F*cking up on a CPU OC isnt very common, unless you do a HUGE OC in one trip to the bios, or continue to OC when it is unstable, or the temps are too high and you ignore that.

If you're going to OC, I would reccommend PC3500. Especially mushkin or corsair XMS, becasue they can do 2-2-2-5 timings. Running the RAM at a 1:1 ratio w/ 3-4-4-8 timings isnt as good as having a 5:4 ratio with 2-2-2-5 timings.

k i might try sum Mushkin RAM but dunno yet :p ill see. ta guys

Why get the Asus P4C Deluxe, save some money and get an Asus P4P Deluxe, or even and Abit IS7.
