he probably thinks it's a horror

this really doesnt need to be made, espcially in this day and age where political correctness will kill some of the details in the book

I'm fine with the original and even though it's mediocre most of vonneguts stuff is unfilmable ..just watch Breakfast of Champions with bruce willis to see what I mean

Wow that movie was boring and too weird, why would he remake that shit?

philistine!!! the movie was great ..or more accurrately the book the movie is based on is great

the book is wonderful, I've never seen a movie based on a Vonnegut book though and I am relatively pessimistic about how successfully it's possible to translate his style to film.

watch the original SH5, it's pretty good, breakfast of champions not so much

Sounds good.
I hope that someone will make a movie based on Cat's Cradle.

Harrison Bergeron movie, please.

Or at least short film...

edit: nvm it exists

This.

There is currently absolutely no way to film any of Vonnegut's books. Vonnegut is in the writing, not in the dialogues or action.

WHY, gods, WHY!?

A) I'd be skeptical if the four movies in that deal all come to fruition.

B) Del Toro's version of Slaughterhouse Five would certainly be weird, so I'm curious. Whether it would be good or have anything to do with the book is a different question.
