Guitar Hero 3 PC gayness

So i got this for christmas except it's the PC version...which is fine, im on my pc more than I use the tv so that works out. However, the PC version lacks alot of the features that the XBOX or PS3 versions have. For instance, you cannot have your scores uploaded online, you cannot get downloadable content, and the multilayer option no longer works. Also, they give you the same guitar from guitar hero 2, the white crappy one. EA also said they do not plan on adding the DLC feature to the game, even though in-game it says "coming soon". (False Advertising?)

Should I be able to trade this in for the XBOX version? I think I have a pretty decent case for wanting a trade for the xbox game.

Should I even attempt to go to the mall and exchange it?

I would think it would be a lot easier to put custom songs in the game if you had the PC version. You might want to look into that before you try and trade it in.
