This is the coolest ****ing game ever. I bought Guitar Hero 1 and 2 this morning (a sum of about $150, since I got 2 guitars) and my friend and I have been playing for the past 7 hours straight. I'm taking a ten minute wrist break right now.

I know some of you play this. THOUGHTS?!

Ennui, I posted a thread about 1 AND 2 a while back, and somebody posted a thread of 1 before me. You spammer.

But all things aside, I love this game to death. Had GH2 since the 2nd of November *5 days prior to it being released * and beat it in 24 hours. Expert is much easier now that the hammer ons and pull offs are do-able. I'm going to record a video on my POS .mov camera and post it for ya. I'd do Freebird *My favorite song* but alas, I can't...I'll try to find one in my time limit. *Unless my roomate finds the other camera that can take upwards to 10 minutes of footage.

I beat it in a few hours but only on medium. I'm still not that good. Freebird was epic.

I raelly want Guitar Hero 2, but I'd probably suck at it.

I only have 1 and the demo of 2... Really awesome stuff

I'm going to wait until the Xbox360 version comes out next year though.

Guitar Hero 2 has more notes in it, and they are closer together, but since hammer ons and pull offs are much easier, they are doable, that's for sure.

I'm the left. I make a few REALLY retarded mistakes, it happens. Now remember, I have a SHITTY camera. That nice black bar over the scores disappears every now and then. And the random earthquakes are because the cat is jumping on the chair.

That's how I ended up starting this game on Hard. Since I do rather well on stepmania, it helps a whole lot.

Expert ftw U_U. They game is really easy to get good at, plus the practice feature in GH2 is great for some songs (Freebird on expert. Seriously gtfo out of here...and im not even going to talk about jordan)

Lmfao, I've done Jordon on expert ONCE. Never again I say. Freebird really isn't all that hard to 5 start. I only have trouble on one part and thats with the I think blue->yellow->red->yellow->blue->repeat... in VERY fast. Then after it comes the slightly slower version. I have troubles moving hand fast enough, the rest of the song is rather breezy though. I love it..favorite song on the game.

I can manage this game on Normal, but i lose all coordination if i try it on hard. Massively fun though!

Yeah thats the part that I hate on freebird. Practice helped me out though, so I can get through most of it without going into the red.

Pretty good vid Cyber, but the audio is off by quite a bit (like 8 seconds or so).

I'm probably on the exact same skill level as you. Jordan is a tough bitch and I don't feel like playing it again. The 2nd half of Freebird is the most fun section in the game for me

I haven't played GH2 in a while but god I love the game. I've just been so wrapped up in Gears and Zelda

And yeah, Jordan can go to hell, and the second half of Freebird keeps my fingers moving, so I love it.

Because it's purely interactive. Video games, you sit...hit a few buttons..that gets boring to people sometimes. They need something that is innovative..something different. Guitar Hero came out, and everybody loved the fact you could jump around, rock out on your guitar, slamming the whammy bar. IMHO that beats the idea of sitting in a chair with a controller....

That's the fascination...

Anyway I never tried Guitar Hero, think I might it sounds pretty neat.
