Hacker Demos

Was wondering if there was anyone out there who is able to send me videos of hackers, demos of someone watching a hacker or a hacker themself. I am trying to train some admins how to look for these hackers and was wondering if anyone out there is kinda enough to help me. A site that hosts hacker videos would be just as helpful thanks. I would prefer to be PM'd this information then post here, but either way works. Thanks

Ummmm, its usually not hard at all to tell.....c'mon usually prospective admins have played at least a bit of CS....

Just look for these things :
1) Faster moving players : Speedhackers. They use a program to skip an info packet being sent to the server, which forces the server to move them much further than they could go in a normal time span.
2) EXTREME reaction time : Aimbotters. They use a program to lock onto certain parts of the body. If they are noticed by VAC they are banned from their account permanently over two weeks. Some aimbots can be instantly switched off so they don't arouse suspicion. Look for jerky movement (for instance, an enemy leans off a ledge to shoot the aimbotter just below him, and the aimbotter looks above him immediatly and does an instant headshot. That's probably an aimbot. Or when a person has a crazy score like 64-0, you should keep an eye on him.
3) Seeming clairvoyants : Wallhackers. They use a program to look through walls (partly or completely) so they can see an enemy coming, which often results in quick deaths for the opposition and 'incredible' grenade kills. Often used in conjunction with toggleable aimbots.

Don't listen to beerdude (on this occaision - he's usually a cool dude). There are cheats out there now that look extremely non-cheat like (Not obvious at all). good cheaters can cover up their wall-hacks so easily, and even then someone who can trace people through walls doesn't have to be a cheater (I do it using sound all the time)

IronChef, I'll try and find some actual demo's. But here's a demo of me using sound to (modestly) own an entire server (I actually used the demo to try and prove I wasn't cheating to a clan - didn't work :|).

I should also have a script in there which turns the demo into wireframe (not a hack, just a console command). They can use that when viewing any offline demo's to catch proper obvious wall-hackers.

You'll need the CSE demo player - it can play demos from all engine upgrades.

download that and try fixing the demos. I'll edit the upload to have fixed versions anyway, but if you can't wait then use CSE.

Dekstar is right, be very careful when finding hackers, they can cover it up if they are good enough. There are also fluke shots (I once Headshotted no scoped with a scout while running across Aztec, a fluke shot). You'd probably want to look for it to happen a few times, not just once.
Don't live by this, but I'd imagine if you can find them doing a pattern and continually headshotting, it is most likely a hack, same for Aimbot. Speedbot is the easiest to find, just look for continous bursts of speed. It's 'specially easy if someone has about 1-100 ping and is getting large bursts of speed, but no one else around the same ping is.

Yeah, in CS:S I use sound lots to kill people with. Many times the shots are doubtable. So don't be too strict, a hacker isn't bad till he overabuses it- then you can safetly ban him.

I listen very carefully to sound, even slight noises can give somebody away, giving you the chance to shoot before even coming around the corner.

Clear symptoms of Hacking:

Teamwork - sometimes mistaken as "playing along well with others", teamwork is used by many a scoundrel to unfairly thwart the enemy. Ban on sight.

Coordination - if a player gets a headshot, it's usually because he or she is hacking. Ban on sight.

Luck - When the forces of the universe begin helping the enemy out by sub-atomically giving into chance, ban immediately.

Speakers / Headphones - Used by hackers to hear the enemy's movements and gun fire. Also known as "sound haks", this unjust use of video gaming has lead invariably to its decline in sportsmanship.

I remember when I started to kill someone as soon as they popped up around a corner like I had wallhack, guy called wallhack on me. The best (Guy didn't call me the hacker, was kinda like WTF?) was when I snuck up on a guy who just destroyed glass and crouched onto the window. I started knifing him and eventually killed him. Later on he said "I thought the glass was cutting me."
