hey im new on these forums and i have 512 mb of ram , a geforce 4 ti 4200 and 1.6 gigahertz will this be fine

Currently, the minimum system specs are:

1.2 GHz Processor
256MB RAM
DirectX 7 level graphics card
Windows 2000/XP/ME/98
Mouse
Keyboard


You'll be fine. No one can give you exact numbers, except VALVe.

Yes it should be fine. The Ti 4200 is a bit dated, but it should work. For further referance on specifications for HL2, I suggest you search with keywords "specs" and "specifications".

should run fine, heres a tip: this is a very bad way to get started out on these forums....i'd be more worried if u had a gf2 mx 400 like me and no cash.
