Half-Life 1 Installation

I get an error saying that windows does not support running the program in ms-dos or whatever. this is stupid. i bought half-life platinum edition and it doesnt install. hahaha, godamn.

any suggestions?

What version of windows are you using ?

Just download Steam, then use the CD Key to download all of the games (expcept for Opposing Force, which should work fine on its own anyway.)
