Im getting these annoying white lines on the edge of textures (jaggies?) when i have antialiasing turned on in HL2. I tried all different settings... no change. When i ran this game on my old computer it never did this, with an ati card. I thought turning on antialiasing transparency would do the trick, but same result. It mostly appears in dark areas... it really ruins the mood of the game. Any ideas?

image link broken.

My opinion is get new drivers.

If not, increase your screen's refresh rate.

There use to be a good hacking program that could have been of use, but they closed down. or, at least their servers collapsed fro the time being.

Should work now. I tried the refresh rate and a few older drivers, but it didnt change anything. I thought turning on transparency - multisampling would do the trick but it doesnt. Maybe i need a try some more drivers? idk...

Here's something that might enlighten you:http://www.halflife2.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=3071This sucks, I know because I have the same problem. It's one of those things that Gabe promised Valve would fix, and they never did. Nor did NVIDIA. At first, people were saying it was an incompatibilty issue with NVIDIA cards, but I checked with others on this site already who had ATI cards, and they still get the same issues.:P It's hard for me to enjoy HL2 without this stupid glitch too, so your not the only one.

I found a solution - download fakefactory's cinematic mod. Works perfectly, no white lines or anything!
