Just now, I started up a game of HL2 and decided to put the graphics settings higher, I changed it to 1024*768 or something similar and noticed that I couldn't see the ammo count any more. So I changed the apect ratio to see if that would work, I changed it to 16*10 or 11 I can't remember, suddenly my monitor goes black and the power button turns orange instead of green and it says "Input not supported" in the middle, now whenether I load up HL2 it says this, usually I would just change the Apect ratio back to 4:3 and the problem would be solved, BUT, I can't actually see anything so I can't negociate myself to the graphics menu to change it back, I've tried to do it anyway but I think I accidentaly loaded up a game instead, Now my question is how can I change it back without entering the game? In steam I've right click> properties> Verify interigrity of game files and that doesnt work, So please help me!!!

You'll have to put custom resolution settings into the launch options.
Code:
-width 1024 -height 768

your monitor most likely doesnt support 16:10(Widescreen)

Thanks A lot The Brick putting in that code sorted it out right away :) :) :)

Well that always happens the first time you change your resolution, so next time you change it, you know.
