Hi All.
Just installed Half Life 2 and Counter Strike Source.
First here my system specs:
OS: Vista 64 Home Premium
MOBO: Gigabyte SP
CPU: AMD 64X2 6000+
RAM: 4GB
GPU: Geforce 8600GTX
HDD: 500GB Seagate 7200
Heres my problem. With this system its well above any specs required for Half life 2 and HL2 based game, like my old computer (a AMD 2000+ 512mb Ram, Geforce 4 MX440) runs it mint as.
But on my new computer you are playin along and every few minutes it doesnt lagg exactly but you temporarly lose the use of the mouse, Like you can still walk forward strafe etc using "ADSW" but the cross hair (mouse controlled) wont move for a few seconds (like 2 or 3) before it jumps into life again?
So Im wondering has anyone had this problem before, could this be a vista problem? Any Ideas?
