Half-life 2 coupon's going for really cheap on ebay.

You guys should really take advantage of this, even if you're going to get the retail. I just ordered my half-life 2 coupon from ebay, and recieved it couple of days ago and iam registerd and ready for half-life2 when it comes out. If you havent checked the prices for hl2 on ebay its really cheap, like 10 bucks, so in essence i got hl2 for 10 dollars.

Iam guessing when hl2 goes live these coupons will sell for a lot more so if you want to be ready take advantage of this time cause hl2 will be out pretty soon and these wont be there or will sell for a lot more. I have already oredered two of them for 20 dollars.

1. Stolen a whole bunch from a warehouse with Radeon 9600/9800s..
2. Printed up fakes
3. Legitamately found them lying on the ground at his friends bedroom

they'll be fake and Valve will be aware of it and know which are and which aren't. Chances are people will suddenly find their accounts cancelled without warning the day HL2 begins streaming onto people's systems.

Which servers anyone silly enough to buy them on ebay right IMO.

Well mine is no fake because it came with reciept and a UPC from the ATI box so i can send it in for a retail version. If you are worried if its a fake or not (highly unlikely) send the guy an email and ask whats up. btw mine was unscratched and had to scratch it so it can reveal the code.

There is no reason that it would be illegal. Selling something you paid for or selling something else you didn't pay for (ie. a beta account for WoW, etc) are two completely differernt things.

That'd be like saying you can't sell a game manual on eBay because it's not for resale.

I just got email back from the guy and this is what he said. There is 2 hours left on the auction and the price is still cheap.

In public forums people are always skeptical lol. My employer just upgraded the desktops to 9800XT cards and each box came with a HL2 card as I'm sure you already know. Most people there didn't know the significance of the card when they got handed out. Only a few of us wanted the cards so I ended up splitting them with the coworkers and getting 9 myself
I can assure you that, although some Ebay members' auctions might not
be legit, mine certainly are.
