Alright, so here's the deal.
I dunno if this is anything specific so I'm just gonna explain everything. I'm in the "Black Mesa East" part of the game just before I am gonna get the Gravity Gun. Alyx brings me on to an elevator and the game brings up the "Loading..." thingy in the middle of the screen, a couple of seconds into the load I get the "Windows Critical Error" sound and HL2 immediatly closes but there is no error message box to be found. I have tried multiple times with the same result. I was wondering if anyone could offer some advice as to why this could be happening and if you know of any solution.
