Half Life 2 - Deathmatch Install

I heard about Half Life 2 deathmatch and openned up my steam application. This then started two actions:

1. Install 30Mb of deathmatch
2. Confirming Half Life file validity

The first axction seemed not to progress, where as the second took a full 30 mins to complete.

I had to re-boot my laptop (for another reason), now I can't find anywhere where I get the option to install deathmatch (HL2)!!

I purchsed the retail version (bronse), but it appears I am entitled to this software..

Have a look in your game list and see if Deathmatch is in there.

I forgot to mention - it's not there, or is there, but is greyed out..
