Half-Life 2: Deathmatch Update

Updates to Half-Life 2: Deathmatch have been released. The specific changes include:

[br]Half-Life 2: Deathmatch
  • Score in teamplay mode no longer wraps back to zero 0 when it goes past 127.
  • Fixed bug in player bounding boxes while crouching.
  • Added cvar "cl_autowepswitch" to allow automatic weapon switching to be turned off.
  • Flashlight no longer turns off when auxiliary power is drained.
  • Auxiliary power now resets when a player respawns after drowning.
  • Fixed explosive barrels to allow burning after respawn.
The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client is restarted.

Don't want to be called a whiner, but what about dm_runoff? Are the bugs still there? Haven't played HL2DM for a pretty long time.
 
Nice little update. To bad they didn't fix the water sound after drowning bug when they were fixing water bugs any way. :)

Still i'd love to see these changes in action tomorrow when i get the time.

Have you ever recorded a demo of yourself playing DM? I'd be totally curious to see what it's like to totally pwn in deathmatch. Just curious. :p
 
it feels good, seeing so many bodies flying around and knowing that you're the reason for it all........... siiighh.... there's a very profound joy in it XD


P.S oh yeah! great fixes too! THANK GOD now valve is paying attention to hldm instead of cs cs cs cs cs :D
 
Holy shit! They actually fixed this stuff! Awesome, I though Valve would never do it.
