Half Life 2 Delayed again?

I have heard alot of rumors today about HL2 dealyed until November, but i have not seen any place where either Valve or Vivendi have officialy stated a delay.

So, just rumors and speculations?

please hope its just a rumour, since they said it's preloading tommorow can't wiat to get hte texturesa on my machine, nad valve woudln't preload 2 months ealry.... or would they?

Please don't say that its a bunch of noobs who actualy think that retailers are accurate (ie: best buy etc say november but have no clue).

GameStop has September 9th I think thats pretty accurate. Its a decent amount of time away from the preload so I think it makes sense. Plus I heard somewhere its coming out somewhere mid september. :upstare:

Whatever valve or vivendi say about the release date is official. They say SEP. 30, then holidays, then april (vivendi said this I believe), then summer, now doug is saying fall. I say, this is bullshit.
