Just reading an interview with Doug Lombard in this months PC Gamer.

He talks about a demo (presumably an in house one). I quote "It's really demonstrated in the demo when NPC's manipulate the physics. First time I played the demo a Zombie......"

Would be great if a demo was made up and at some point will be released :)

Gah I'm just dreaming again.... the article is however real.


/edit I think he's actually talking about the E3 demo :(

forget about HL2 untill april, its even on CNN news now. Forget about it!
 
Has a statement been released by VALVe?

I dont believe anything until I hear it from the horses mouth
 
I think the demo is not on Valve's list of priorities right now. But I wish they would consider releasing one if the game is to be delayed till 2004.

why not VU where Right about the other delay so why they wrong this time???? they are not valve suck at telling us stuff..... 6 months ffs gutting

Yeah, that is probably referring to the E3 Traptown demo, where zombies attack you. They throw a barrel at you, get shot in two and of course gets a car smashed on them and starts to burn.

Either that or its another earlier demo for Valve employers of course, I'm sure there's been thousands by now :)
 
I would think that maybe they release a sp demo for everyone sometime around xmas since this delay happened. Thats my guess, knowing valve and their dedication to their fans.

Even "IF" they a have a playable beta, whats the big deal? So they can run around looking at stuff on a crappy bugged beta, woohoo im sooo jealous... :rolleyes:
 
as i said it looks like the robot in the mars movie with val killmer, is it really the design of the robot of the game? is there any screenshot of it?

Ah well since the game won't be out till next year, I guess we could do with the new pics...

I don't think VALVe would want to ruin the initial experience prior before launch.
