Well to put simple Half Life 2 doesnt exist Valve has made a small engine to show some pictures and to get everyone really exctied then Valve created many half life 2 websites this being one. The idea was as people logged on to these websited it would power up their doomsday weapon but when their wasent anough people on at the same time they made up the hacker story and released some code so that thousands of people would log on at the same tiime to discuss. But unfortunately There still wasnt enough people to power up the weapon so now their trying to think of anover way to get more people on line at once which explains their silence.
