Half-Life 2 @ E3

Half-Life 2 will be displayed at E3 right? Which means since it's been a year they'll show us the updated build from last year. That means it'll look pretty slick, don't you think? E3 is on May 11!! That's only... 19 days away! I'm excited as to what we'll be seeing

And if they DO release the sdk with E3, we can all start playing with the map editor. Unless they only release it to certain mod developers. If they do release it to the pbulic, you shouldn't look at it cuz it'll have a list of monsters so it'll spoil it.

I don't think they will release the SDK at E3, but I think they will announce a date for it, they also MIGHT announce a firm date for the release of the game. But thats my oppinion.

That's assuming they've been working on the graphics at all. Who knows? They might have frozen development on the graphics stuff for a couple of years. We don't know anything! Will the SDK come out at E3? Who the hell knows? We don't.

Well I mena like the clipping issues and tweaked models for gameplay.. What we saw at last E3 were prolly early models, newer might looks better

Well, technically E3 DOES start the 11th, but that's the workshop program, the actual floorshow/our first time to see HL2 IS the 12th.

Lol, I plan on waking up at, oh, 5:30am or so and getting a taxi over to the convention center, picking up my badge, then waiting at the closest entrance to Vivendi's section until they open at 10am heh.

Lol, exhibit floor hours start (on Wed at least) at 10am, 5:30's when I feel like waking up to get a decent spot in line. Probably will be a ton of people before me, but hey.

...Hmm, one of the conferences starts at 9:30 and I have a conference pass (and possibly soon a media pass, I'm loaded lmao)...wonder if I could go to that and wander out before it is done/before 10 haha

As for Rook, I'm going confirmed since I'm a student at DigiPen (a gaming school, hence an in-the-industry thing), unconfirmed as a media member. As for marriage, well, I'm already engaged, sorry 'bout that haha. hope you have a good time! btw the next issue of pcgamer i believe released on the 13th of may in the UK "supposedly" has unseen pics of HL2 in it they did a 2 parter las tmonths and next months last months being seen before stuff probably doing it so its after E3...
