Apologies for making up several new words in the title but they should make some sense to you. On the back of the seemingly accidental Half-life 2 update, Episode 2 has been given a handful of new accessories including the new SteamPipe format, which allows for a more optimised delivery of the game (streamlined downloads).
Linux support has been added, as well as support for 'Virtual Reality devices, in particular the Oculus Rift.'
The update also states that numerous bug fixes contributed by the community have been implemented. There are always a few teething issues with these kinds of patches (withstanding issues with mods) so be sure to report issues to the Steam announcement here. - Thanks Thomas.
