Half life 2 on nvidia cards

Do you gut think half life will run smoothly on a eVGA 6800 nu 128 MB. Cause I read that it wont run well on it so plz help
i got a pen 4 2.6 and 768 ram pc 2700

look at the bench marks, and or do the vst if you have it.

That comment about it running badly applies to the FX series.

Just because it isn't ATI doesn't mean it's going to run bad. Granted it won't run as good as an ATI card, it will run fine. You'll be ok.

If HL2 runs like CS Source ran for me on my 5700 FX Ultra....then there shouldn't be anything to worry about, I get great fps on high detail with reflections..
