Half-life 2 out in June??

You know how valve said summer right?? Well the people who created Doom 3 also said summer....but it's coming out on June 14. Hopefully valve does the same thing. Just a thought.

hmm.. well iD (the dev team of Doom3) hasn't confirmed a June 14th release date, so ur wrong there..

as for HL2, i don't think its realistic to expect the game any time in June or even July.. August/September seems like a more realistic time for the game.

i know pple aren't happy hearing the "realistic-ness" about the game but my view is, as soon as pple get their hopes too high is when they set themselves up for a disappointment.

My mom says my birthday is during the summer, and its really August 8th, so therefore using your logic, we can conclude that HL2 will release around August 8th.

Summer ends on the fall/autumn equinox which is around september 20th 21st

About the release date. They won't release the game in June. August most likely. And that 14th June release date for DoomIII isn't true. Well, Maybe but 7/20 and 7/24 are the date on the on the pre-order link on doom3.com
