I preloaded Half Life 2 up to phase 4, but then I had to format my hard drive and re-install windows after getting a new motherboard, now when I try and preload steam will freeze, I have left it 1/2 hr but it has completely crashed and I am forced to Ctrl + Alt + Del. I then downloaded CS Source, now my Half-life 2 preload is at 22% (I would guess this is because they both share files) however if I click continue to carry on the preload steam will crash again. After steam has crashed the process in the task manager will use loads my memory.
