Half-Life 2 Preload Installer

We recently reported on a guide that would help you to back up your Steam pre-load files for use in the future if you ever lose your game data. Well, wrgn.net have gone one step further and created a special installer application:

This system allows you to burn your Half-Life 2 Steam backup files to DVD and have an appropriate Autorun program to install it. Not only does it allow you to install Half-Life 2, but any other Steam based application. It also includes a Steam install too.

even if they are they will be at least below 100 mb so getting that few gig out on a dvd saves some time.

Does anyone know if it would allow you to burn to multiple cd's? I am one of those people stuck on a computer that only burns or reads CD's. (stupid laptop) anyway, I dont think they say anywhere. I dont even know why I am asking, I should just try it to some rewriteables.

There is at least one more preload - localized assets.

I'd say at least another 200 MB since we have roughly 3.3 GB of HL2 + Source content.
