Hi i bought hl2 original in the stores and i installed it..But when i want to enter my cd key thats in the box it says this..

I may be mistaken here, but are you getting that box up by clicking "Add a game I already own" in the browse games window?
If so, and this is guesswork as I bought through steam, try running the game after you have installed it (Right click steam icon, hit play games, double click HL2) and it should prompt you for the CD key.

try installing HL2 and CS:source together- if not It looks lke a securerom problem with your dvd drive .... use the search button ^^
