half-life 2 problem playing

so i installed the games, and i trying to play using windows xp on vmware fusion (so i running windows on a macbook)

i log into steam, and try to play a game, launch it.... it starts to load, then stops, and nothing happens!

what could be wrong?

I don't think you can run the game this way. Not enough speed, and probably not enough RAM allocated for the game either. You will need a good strong Windows desktop computer to handle this. OR, a new Mac desktop with Windows loaded as the second operating system using Bootcamp or the like.

i meet the ram and GHZ requirments w/ vmware.
