Half life 2 problems!! please help!

Hi its that i did just install the game and did run the exe.. but i only get up a window that its standing--> unable to get IFilesystem interface from filesystem factory :flame: . So please help me to fix this problem thank you!

Alright, here's some advice. Purchase the game, legally, on Steam, because you can't get it working properly unless you own it legally.

Also, what does "Filesystem Factory" (LINK) have to do with Steam, or HL2? All I can think of is you are somehow trying to emulate/circumvent Steam????
