Half-Life 2 seemingly unpurchased

Okay, so I bought the game about a year ago, and have played it many times, without any problems. I played yesterday and it was fine, but when I tried to start it today, it instead took me to the Steam interface. I went to My Games, and Half-Life 2 is marked "Pre-Load Complete" and apparently I have to purchase the game again. Any idea why this would happen?

Not an unusual bug. Delete your clientregisry.blob file located in your Steam folder and restart Steam.

Yea that's happened to me a few times with CSS, I just restart steam and it's fine.
