Half-Life 2 Silver Pack

So I bought the silver pack of Half-Life 2 and already purchased Half-Life previously. I bought the Silver pack with my account that I had my Half-Life cd key registered with. If the silver pack includes the previous Steam games, shouldn't I be able to register my original Half-Life game with another account? I tried and it said that the cd key is already registered.

probably not because your orignal cd-key is still attached to that account.

if you had wanted to do what u suggest then u probably should have made another account to buy your silver pack on if u get what i mean.
