Half Life 2 System Requirements!

I have Doom 3 and can run it on medium at 20 FPS +, since HL2 looks better, i wonder if my system can handle it.

System:

MSI MS-6533EG (mobo)
P4 1.8 Ghz
512MB RAM DDR
ATI RADEON 9600 XT

So at what settings can i run the game at??

Yes it can. Doom 3 was not coded as well and did not have the engine (source) that half life 2 does. I would bet you could almost double your doom performance in half life 2. And HL2 looks better...so its a double bonus...lol
