Half life DM Source Pic and Buglist

Buglist (please add to this)

1) In Crossfire if you use the turrets in the towers (visable in pic) then press "e" again to stop using them your weapon model disappears.
2) In Crossfire on leaving the turret, it spins round uncontrolably. This caues clipping problems.
3) The main Menu 3D background doesnt appear (or didn't for me)
4) The colour altering part isnt in the game (not really a bug)
5) MAJOR, in Undertow when you are on the tram it has the annoying teleport movement, making it really unplayable, this happens when the tram is going round corners
6) In Bootcamp there are wierd things ontop of the complex (these might have been in the map before not sure) see bootcamp pic 2,3 they look very stupid.
7) In Frenzy the glass seen in pic 1, doesnt shatter properly, it goes in one go like HL1 glass, the rest of the glass surfaces in HL DM Source shatter like in HL2/CSS
8) Badly scaled texture in Rapidcore (pic 3)

It seems like servers don't show up in the serverbrowser. Have anyone seen any servers in the ingame serverbrowser yet? I have checked, even when running a server myself, but no servers. Surely someone must have servers up and running even though sds doesn't support hldms yet?

Also the travelspeed of the mp-gren seems much slower than in hldm.

Is there anymore pics you guys want, ive got all the maps now I think.

An no I made this server myself none show up in the server browser, and yes those bugs were found by playing the map for 2 minutes. There are most likely many more.

ALSO the HDR in this game isn't as intensive as DOD Source and Lost Coast so most anyone will be able to use it with NO performance issues.

I don't understand, just looks like HL1 DM but with HDR? Anyone like to explain? Sorry.

There are indeed no HDR-enabled maps in HLDM Source (I went and checked them all after seeing the 'full HDR' shots here). You can still set it to Full HDR but, as in all Source games, it will only actually use HDR if the map specifies it.

HLDM:S does have the standard skybox bloom (eg. you look at the sun over the edge of a building and it blooms).

In general the HLDM:S release strikes me as buggy and premature. When starting a server for example you get a console warning about a setting that, according to the warning, should have been turned off before release. Steam as a whole also seems to crash more, seeing as it hadn't crash for me in months until after I preloaded ep1 and hldm:s, after which it has crashed 3 times so far.
 
Yeah its fairly buggy, but it works on the most part. It does indeed have HDR in all maps though not to the Lost Coast degree

How have you got it Dowie? On the Beta team, or is it already available via Steam?

Its fine people. Valve said it was just HLDM on the source engine with NO upgrades so what are you people acting surprised about? Its fine and its fun. Brings back old memories. oh and dont expect many servers or people playing. Its just there as an extra something you can jump into with a few friends. It wont have 1000's of people playing it.

DEBUG HISTORY IS ENABLED. Disable before release (in env_debughistory.h).

And HDR is not working. mat_hdr_enabled is set to 0. If you activate it manually you will see a minimal effect (and overbrightened reflections), but that works in normal HL2 (or HL2: DM), too.

PS: Anyone tried the long jump? Either it's much harder to do or it doesn't work at all.
 
Many glitches.

Let's see...invisable players...ragdolls are horrible...longjump module doesn't work...in some maps I've seen that the glass is checkered, but that's if I load the map twice. Oh and for some reason I can't use the screenshots. The tga file's won't open.

But that doesn't matter, because it's so god damn fun! The only dislike(besides the glitches) is the Gauss. It's just not the same.
 
I'm *sure* it's gonna get lots of bug fixes before Ep1 is released :)

What is the graphic differece between HLSDM and HLDM? I can't see.

Just sorted out pre order woot. Had a brief look at hl deathmatch: source. Hmm it's so primative. Never go back always forward. Roll on june 1st
 
Damn. I've got a bug. Whenever I join a server, the thing stalls and I have to reboot.

I got it by HL:S, by the way, not by the pre-order.
