half-life enhancment

hi is there any fan made enhancment for the 1st half-life?
cuz i remember a year ago there was a site that was making new half-life 1 textures and using the playstation 2 models

Are you talking about the High Definition HL pack for HL1? Remade all the weapon models, character and monster models, and some of the weapon sounds. I hated that thing, looked kinda good but it changed the entire game...

I believe you may be referring to Half-Life: Enhance, which is still running in the old Half-Life engine, but is put to its limit. The team behind that are enhancing every aspect about the original game. I don't believe its available for download yet, and the past few months of total silence leads people to believe they have thrown in the towel

However, you may want to keep an eye on Black Mesa: Source, a total remake of HL in the source engine. You can find them here. If goes according to plan, it will be made freely available, if you have HL2

Unfortunately they are down at the moment, because I believe their web host, hlgamer, is doing maintenance, which has knocked BMS offlinefor a while (it has been 3 days so I'm hoping for the best soon)

Thats why I put total in "a total remake of HL in the source engine"

Besides they are keeping the storyline intacted as it was before, just improving on everything else
